MTP tracks Members and Contractors and provides five referral
lists while also tracking the pertinent information of Apprentices
and Non-Members. This is an invaluable aid in assuring that
all workers on a job site are Union members.
MTP comes
with three separate referral lists. All three comply with
the International's rules and regulations. The referral lists
also provide easy access to each individual's skills and personalized
notes.
FLEXIBILITY
MTP's greatest feature is its flexibility. MTP
produces all of the required reports and membership validations
and provides the ability to customize almost every available
feature.
ACCURACY
Accountants praise MTP because it tracks all payments,
modifications and updates to any financial item made within
MTP. In other words, worry-free audits are part of the MTP
package.
A special
feature is the system's register for each cashier. This register
tracks all financial transactions for the membership. Of exceptional
value in a Union audit, accountants can inspect and audit
these reports. If a fee is deleted, it is recorded in a history
file. No financial transactions can occur in MTP without a
record being made in a history file. Nothing can be done with
money without MTP remembering it.
CONNECTIVITY
MTP has several ways to connect offices together.
And MTP is the only product that has a replication program.
This unique program:
- uses
a spoke-and-wheel process to replicate the database between
multiple locations.
- is
so efficient and fast that it utilizes standard telephone
lines. This is possible because MTP only transmits changes
made by each location and not the entire database (the Internet
can also be used).
If replication
is unsuitable, MTP can use point-to-point networks to transfer
information or run from a Citrix Server®.
DATABASES
MTP is a fast, 32-bit application written and compiled
in Object-Oriented Pascal. MTP avoids bottlenecks associated
with applications written in "canned" database applications.
Knowing that data-access is sometimes needed by other applications,
MTP stores its data in a format to be easily extracted by
databases like Access®, Paradox® and Fox Pro®.
